The Quarrel

Solution

  1. Quarrels between siblings last for a very short time generally. After having a fight they began to hate each other but they couldn't go along like that for a long time.

  2. It is common for brothers and sisters to quarrel. Many a time they don’t know the point of dispute. But their quarrel does not last long. One day the narrator quarrelled with her brother for no authentic reason. Both stuck firmly to their claim of being right.

  3. One thing leads to another and hot words are exchanged and after some time we quarrel to the utmost. When the quarrel starts it is slight but when it ends it is very violent and strong. We begin to hate each other without bothering about how we quarrelled. So we are not able to say why we quarrelled.

    1. The poet of the poem quarrelled with his/her brother in the above-mentioned lines. Although, the reason for the fight was quite silly.
    2. The poet could not remember the reason behind the fight. One argument led to the other and it became a fight. Though, the issue was minor only.
    3. The poet’s brother said 'he was right' in the given lines.
