    Sir,
    Subject: Enquiry About Accommodation
I am a resident of Dadar and have joined coaching classes in Laxmi Nagar, Delhi. I want to inquire if there is a room available as accommodation for a paying guest around this area. If so, please let me know whether it is single or twin sharing. Besides this, could you also send me the details regarding monthly charges of boarding and lodging? I am interested to know what kind of other facilities you also provide. If there are 24 hours power-supply, mode of transport available, meal, washing facility and also if there is any shopping centre located close by.
I shall be exceedingly grateful if you respond promptly as I currently I am living with some distant relatives. Looking forward to hearing from you.
    Thanking you.
    Yours faithfully

    Sir,
    Subject: Use of Public Transport
Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I am writing this letter to bring your attention to the advantages of public transport usage.
Everybody can observe easily that the increase in the number of private vehicles on the road is the major cause of air as well as noise pollution. More vehicles mean more congestion and traffic jams because the public has become devoid of civic sense. Everybody tries to move first and fast which not only increases the chance of accidents but also causes a lot of noise pollution. An easy and quick solution to the problem is that we should make more and more use of public transport. It'll prove more comfortable as it will save both our energy and time and we can use that energy at our workplace. The usage of Public transport will decrease the major traffic jams from the roads. Moreover, I want to make an appeal to the vehicle-owner to practice patience while driving because our life is very precious. It is better to reach late than never.
This is a matter of great concern and I hope to hear your reply soon.
    Thanking you
    Yours truly,
    Ram.
